Free CCNA Practice Questions (200-301): No Signup Needed

Five real CCNA questions below, answerable right here with no account and no email. Each one has a full explanation that walks through why the other three options fail - which is the part that actually teaches you something. If you want more, a complete full-length exam is free with the code on this page.

Five questions is a taster. One full exam is a diagnosis.

Scattered questions tell you whether you knew five things. A complete timed exam tells you which domain is going to fail you and whether you can hold your pace for 120 minutes. That exam is free - explanation and Exam Tip on every item, plus a personalized Exam Coach at the end.

Five free CCNA questions, right now

One from each of the areas that decide most CCNA results: subnetting, spanning tree, OSPF, trunking and DHCP. Answer them before reading the explanations.

Why a free full exam beats scattered questions

Free question sets are everywhere and they all share the same limitation: they measure recognition, not readiness. Three things only a full-length exam can show you.

  • Your domain shape. A pass is not an average - it is the absence of a collapsed domain. Answering ten questions from a mixed pool cannot tell you that you are at 55% in IP Connectivity, which at 25% of the exam is the single most likely reason to fail.
  • Your pace. The CCNA is 120 minutes and the simulations eat time disproportionately. Plenty of candidates who know the material fail because they spent 14 minutes on one sim. You cannot rehearse that in a five-question widget.
  • Your stamina. Accuracy in the last twenty questions is usually well below the first twenty. That decay is real, it is trainable, and it is invisible until you sit a full paper.

Where else to find free CCNA questions worth doing

An honest list, including things we do not sell:

  • Cisco's own Learning Network has free practice questions and study material, and it is the most authoritative free source there is.
  • Jeremy's IT Lab is the best free CCNA video course available and comes with quizzes and Packet Tracer labs. If you have finished it, this is how to check whether you are actually ready.
  • Packet Tracer and GNS3 are not question banks but they are where troubleshooting skill is built - and CCNA v2.0 brings troubleshooting back in February 2027, so that matters more now than it has in five years. Free CCNA labs.
  • Our own free questions: the five above, the 5-question timed trial, quizzes on every topic guide, and a complete full-length exam with the code on this page.
⚠️
What to avoid: anything advertising "real exam questions" or "latest 2026 dumps". The answer keys come from candidates recalling questions they were not sure about, so they are wrong often enough to teach you incorrect material. They are also about to become worthless - a set harvested from the v1.1 pool has a hard expiry of 2 February 2027, when the blueprint is redrawn into five domains. And using them breaks the agreement you accept at the test centre, where the penalty is your certifications rather than a refund. The longer argument.

What you get after the full exam

The score is the least useful thing on the results page. What you actually get:

  • A per-domain breakdown, so revision targets something specific instead of "do more questions".
  • An explanation on every item, including the ones you got right - being right for the wrong reason is common on routing and STP questions.
  • An Exam Tip per item naming what an examiner is really probing, which is usually narrower than the topic it sits under.
  • A personalized Exam Coach that reads the whole attempt and ranks the concepts to revisit.

Frequently asked questions

Are these CCNA practice questions really free?

The five on this page need no account at all. A complete full-length exam is also free once you create an account with the code above, with no credit card. The additional exams in the pack are the paid part, as a one-time $39 purchase with lifetime access - nothing is limited to a trial period.

Are these real CCNA exam questions?

No, deliberately. These are original questions written against Cisco's published exam topics by a working network engineer. Real exam questions are copyrighted and covered by the agreement you sign at the test centre; anyone offering them is selling dumps, which carry wrong answer keys, will not match the v2.0 blueprint from February 2027, and put your certifications at risk.

Are the questions aligned to the current blueprint?

Yes, to CCNA 200-301 v1.1, which is the exam in force until 2 February 2027. When v2.0 takes over the next day the bank is updated to it, and because the pack is a one-time purchase rather than an annual licence, that update reaches existing owners for free. See what v2.0 changes.

How many free CCNA questions can I get in total?

Five here with no account, a 5-question timed trial, quizzes on every topic guide, and a complete full-length exam of 100+ questions free with an account. Every one carries an explanation and an Exam Tip, and the full exam ends with a personalized Exam Coach.

What score on practice questions means I am ready?

Scattered questions cannot answer that - only full-length attempts can. The pattern that tends to precede a pass is mid-80s or better across several complete exams with no single domain badly lagging. Cisco does not publish an official pass mark, so treat any exact percentage target as a guess. The readiness rubric goes into detail.
