Question types and exam rules
- Performance-based questions ask you to configure, place or troubleshoot: assign addresses to a subnet plan, match a fault to its fix, order a troubleshooting method. They usually come first.
- You can flag and return. CompTIA allows review, so skipping the PBQs and returning after the multiple choice is a common tactic.
- Subnetting is everywhere. It shows up across domains, not only in Networking Concepts; speed matters as much as accuracy.
- At a test centre or online with a remote proctor, through Pearson VUE.
